Some joints started to crack, but bindings remain sound. Name and Ex Libris of previous owners on front paste down and title pages. Internally clean, mildly age darkened. A few minor tears. A nice set overall.

Overall a very nice and interesting set with some amazing Plates and Maps.

With a frontispiece, Vignettes and 28 folding plates. Later brown calf with gilt line decorations and label on spine. Raised bands. Later end papers. Very good condition. Binding seriouly rubbed and bumped. Material losses and signs of animal activity. Edges age darkened. Text block in very good condition, but pages 289 to 306 absent. Folding plates complete and in very good condition, except plate 26, which shows a 5 cm closed tear. Text block age darkened with ocassional mild foxing. Two old signatures, one scratched out and dated 1766.

Contemporary full calf with black spine label. Gilt title and five raised bands. Very good condition. Rubbed and bumped. Age darkened throughout. Rear joint started to crack from the top. Binding sound. Ex Libris of previous owner on front paste down (‘Thomas Brownrigg’). Small bookseller stamp, just below. Front hinge started to crack. Lower corner of page 1 missing, not affecting text. Internally clean. A very nice copy of this scarce Cork publication.
