Vol. 1: 75 & 75, 84 & 84 pages. Vol.2: 98 & 98, 86 & 86 pages. Vol. 3: 135 & viii, 135 pages. Vol. 4: 62, 42, 40 & 48 pages. Uniform red morroco with gilt titles on front boards. Blind and gilt line decorations. Name of previous owner (‘Queenie Mason’) on all four front boards in gilt. Decorative end papers. Very good condition. Some shelf wear, rubbing and bumping. Edges dust dulled. Some plays slightly age darkened. Name of previous owner neatly inscribed. A very nice set in uniform bindings.

Volumes 1 & 2 show the German and English Texts side by side.
Volume 3 contains the ‘Meistersinger’ first in German, followed by the English translation.
Volume 4 contains only the German versions of Parsifal, Tannhäuser, Der fliegende Holländer and Rienzi.
