Gift inscription, dated 1870 and second name of previous owner (‘Carl Heinz Petersen, Dublin 1939’) on first blank.

Provenance: Carl Heinz Petersen, who signed and dated the book on the first blank was Press Attache for the German Embassy in Dublin and also worked as a Journalist for the ‘Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung’ and the German news agency ‘Nachrichtenbuero’ during the second world war.
