Vol.1: Plates 1 – 161 / Vol. 3: Plates 292 – 446 / Vol. 4: Plates 447 – 542 and 1 – 50. See comments below for noted ‘anomalies’. Contemporary half calf over marbled boards. Red spine labels with gilt title. Gilt decorations and volume numbers in gilt. Very good condition. Bindings rubbed and bumped with wear to spine and ends and corners (see images). Edges age darkened. Joints cracked, but bindings remain sound. Spine leather dried and cracked. Internally dust dulled, but generally clean. A few closed tears and some edge wear to some plates. Overall a very nice collection of more than 450 plates. See images.

Extensive gilt decorations on polished calf. Dentelles. All edges gilt. Marbled end papers. Very good condition. Some shelf wear, rubbing and bumping. Prize label on front paste down. Occasional very mild foxing. A very nice copy in a very fine binding.

Complete with all Plans, Maps, Fold-outs, Forms etc. – as stated in the ‘List of Plans’. Original dark brown textured cloth. Blind decorations on boards. Gilt title on spine. Professionally rebacked in 2019 using the original boards and spine. Very good condition. Some shelf wear, rubbing and bumping. Corners a little worn. Edges dust dulled. New dark end papers. Short closed tears to the two maps in the back. Small paper loss to Paris map – none affecting actual maps. Overall a very nice, bright, complete and clean copy of this rare publication.

Dark end papers. Good condition. Binding shaky, but holding. Front hinge fully cracked. Rear hinge starting to crack. Binding rubbed and bumped. Spine ends slightly frayed. Edges and end papers age darkened. Ex Library. A few stamps (ink and blind) on title page (crossed out). Several pages with neat pencil underlinings and a few annotations. Otherwise internally bright and clean with interesting fold out maps.
