Occasional very mild spotting. Very few descriptive pencil annotations. Internally very clean. A lovely copy in an attractive sturdy binding.

Contemporary quarter calf over marbled boards. Good condition only. Binding severely rubbed and bumped with material losses to corners. Age darkened throughout. Occasional foxing / browning. Small bookseller label and Ex Libris of previous owner on front past down. Some ink stains in red and black. Red ink used on title page engraving (see image). A very good reading copy or candidate for rebinding.
