Complete with a frontispiece, engraved title page and a further 38 Plates, as listed. One plate in colour. Contemporary tree claf. Red spine lable with gilt title. Gilt lines to spine. Very good condition. Binding rubbed, bumped and weak! Front board barely connected. Front joint and hinge open. Would benefit from rebacking or rebinding. Edges and end papers age darkened. Occasional mild foxing and a few damp stains. Name of previous owner on front free end paper. Internally clean. Despite the weak binding a nice complete copy of the scarce first edition.

Very good condition. Some shelf wear, rubbing and bumping. Small material losses / abrasions to corners and spine ends. Volume spine label missing on volume 2. Some joints started to crack, but bindings remain sound. Name and Ex Libris of previous owners on front paste down and title pages. Internally clean, mildly age darkened. A few minor tears. A nice set overall.

Names of previous owners in ink. Front free end paper and half title page a little worn with two small holes. Overall a very nice set in solid contemporary bindings.

Red edges. Very good condition. Some shelf wear, rubbing and bumping. Gilt dentelles. Front free end paper and frontispiece cleanly removed, leaving two stubs (see images). Old signature on front paste down. Old Ex Libris Inscription, dated 1685 on rear paste down (upside down). Tiny book worm holes to a few pages (not affecting text). Small corner missing bottom right of page 203 (not affecting text). Overall a very nice clean copy in a sturdy binding.
