Gilt titles and decorations on spine. Small binder label in volume 1: ‘Westleys & Clark, London’. Very good condition. All bindings are rubbed, bumped and some are stained. Various degrees of fraying to spine ends. Spines age darkened / browned. Edges and end papers age darkened. Internally dust dulled and occasionally mildly foxed. All Plates are present, a few are lose. Bindings sound. A nice complete set of this important publication.
