Glasgow, Printed by Robert and Andrew Foulis for Edward and Charles Dilly in the Poultry, 1786. 19.5 x 12.5 cm. Halftitle, Title Page with Engraving, xxi, (2) [Content], Folded Map, 382 pages. Contemporary calf. Morroco spine label with gilt title. Raised bands and gilt line decorations to spine. Very good condition. Binding rubbed and bumped. Some small loses to spine ends and bottom of front board. Joints cracked, but binding remains sound. Ex Libris of previous owner on front past down. Edges and end papers age darkened. Internally clean. Large folding Map with short (<1 cm) closed tear and mild damp staining (see images). Occasional mild foxing, but generally very clean. Overall a very nice complete copy in a contemporary sound binding.
